Day 12

I made a great dinner that only took 5 minutes to make. Salad, with romaine, carrot, pepper, and roast chicken from the freezer topped with homemade french dressing (nothing like the bottled stuff). Served with the bread I made yesterday and cranberry sauce from the freezer. Did you know that frozen cranberry sauce turns to juice when it thaws? My breadmaker makes me happy every day. I depend on bread and the homemade version works much better for energy throughout the day.

The farm is beautiful. Grass is mowed. Christa edged and cleaned the driveway. Mike and Martin have raked up most of the pine needles, pine cones, and palm fronds, and horse poop. It looks lovely and is great for fire season also. I finished the horse show notebook and started setting up the ring. I gave another riding lesson also. Doing riding lessons makes me happy. Tomorrow, I get to ride. Tomorrow will be packed.
This is what I am sending my package pal. I got brave and tried it again. The previous one didn't even acknowledge what I sent her, let alone send me a package. But before her I had 2 good ones and 1 ok one. The good ones sent me lots of interesting stuff which I am still using.

Daphne is pretending to be a goat. She was hiding from her human mom. Daphne is in the harness, she is being bottle raised.

Mara is teaching this kid that she needs to steer to avoid the trees.
