Day 11

Today was mowing day 2. The farm is looking beautiful. I also got to do 2 lessons and stopped chores by 9pm. I got all the horse show paperwork printed out and made some really good bread. I will post the recipe, since I changed it significately from the original. One of the kids today learned to win arguments when necessary. When you tell a horse to stop, you have to make it stop. Not, she will stop when she wants to. Important life lesson to master. The other kids were a brother and sister team. Big sister wasn't into riding today, so she got to teach little brother. It worked out beautifully. Although little brother had his 1st fall. He was on leadline and I was able to make sure he landed feet first. He said falling is fun. I haven't ever had a fun fall, but I usually land hard.
