Friday day 42. Cleaned house with help. Rearranged dog crates and furnature so the rooms are not blocked with crates for the new dogs. Rushed and got chores done before rain, but no riders or campout because of the rain. Got to finish a browband, but haven't tried it or photographed it.
Saturday day 43. Got to have 2 riders in the rain otherwise dogding rain all day. New dogs are learning manners and learning walks. But...Dana broke a weak gate while I was walking Lyka. The house dogs cornered him on the porch. I shoved Dana loose in the guest room while I rescued Dana and fixed his gate. Meanwhile Lyka broke a lamp. Then I walked McGruff and his collar broke. Eventually he came back. Glad the property is fenced and the horses don't run from dogs. The rest of the day settled well,.
Sunday day 44. Someone donated a set of mounting steps. We were able to pick them up. No rain, catching up on laundry. Cooked some for Monday, dewormed the dogs, and clipped 2. Totallly exhausted and sore. I do have a new recipe to post.
Monday day 45. Happy birthday to me. and I got lots of happy birthday messages. But oh was I sore. Oh well. Still got chores done, although they took way too long. Dogs were all walked, with help from visitors and a teen volunteer. The volunteer even washed all the dog pens so I finished at 8 instead of the 9 I would have finished at. I was grateful I had no lessons today. I think I forgot to call and schedule one. Sorry. Couldn't have done it though. I did paint the first coat on the mounting steps and Richard started construction on the mirrors. Our visitors picked up Toothie to be neutered and brought us Frenchie.
Now the photo hunt...
