Day 53

Lots of people yesterday. I went to the computer store for Katharine with Patty. She stopped at Bass Pro Shops on the way back. I could have spent longer, but people were due at the farm. I did get an airsoft gun to start the kids with mounted shooting. I can't wait to try it. Friends from orlando came to walk the pound dogs, bring back Toothie, and bring dog food. They also bathed Grandma and Frenchie. I didn't spend long with them, had riding. A young rider who comes an hour to ride here, started trotting on her own. Beauty is such a special horse. She has really learned to enjoy new riders, thanks to all the kids who got to argue with her and win when she first came. I rushed through the chores Mike didn't have time to do. He did tons, and even built a private pen for Frenchie. More riders came at 4. They got to enjoy riding bareback and rode in the lake. Their mom took photos. Another rider came and rode to practice for the show. Two college friends came to walk dogs and visit. They were going to ride but ran out of time. They did help me finish chores. Had leftovers for dinner, now there are no more leftovers. I had better take time to cook today. The melioxcam is working wonderfully. It seems to have given me an extra hour to be productive before I crash.
