Day 49
I am happy my mom is ok after gall bladder surgery. I wish I could have been there but am glad my sister and her family and father were all there. I have a really wonderful family and am proud to be related to them. I also got to go to the doctor myself. I have insurance finally and got to start medical care. I haven't had anything but emergency care for 15 years or more. I got a perscription for meloxicam which was free, the blood work was free, and I paid $20 to the doctor. I was looking foreward all day to taking the meloxicam this morning. I took it 20 minutes ago and my knees don't hurt. First time all week, yey. I can't wait to start work. I do not know if I took photos yesterday morning, I didn't have my camera with me yesterday afternoon. Two of the younger kids rode last night. They were steering Alex and having a great time riding through the woods. The youngest is still learning to move the reins the way he wants to go. He will look left, point to turn left with his left hand, but move the reins right with his right hand. Alex, being a very good boy, turns right. Boy then move his hand to the left and Alex then turns left. He nearly ran us into a couple trees by his confused turnings. I think Alex was as amused as I was. (I held the lead rope but used it only as needed).
